Click download to get the brush pack in a zip folder; you will need Winzip or something similar to get it out.

To install for Windows: Place XML file and any other files (such as JPG) with the same name in a brush category here: C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Painter IX\Brushes\Painter Brushes\[category folder]\

To Install for Mac: Place XML file and any other files (such as JPG) with the same name in a brush category here: Applications/Corel Painter IX/Brushes/Painter Brushes/[category folder]/

Or put them in your custom brush folder, if you have one like I do. Whichever.

. . .

Notes: Good for sketches, and best if you sketch quickly, as the airbrush effect depends on velocity.

This is a really dumb question, but would these brushes work with other programs besides Corel painter (like SAI, Photoshop etc..)?

No, I don't think it will work with essentials. In so far as I know, these only work with version 8 of Corel Painter and above.

Hey, nice brushes, I got a problem though; I am trying to use them in Windows, and I put them in a new folder in the Painter Brushes folder just as you directed, but they aren't showing up in the brush menu. Does it need a a little brush icon image or something?

Er . . . Okay, the folder structure for Painter is inordinately complicated, but it should go something like this:

Program Files
-Corel
--Corel Painter IX
---Brushes
----Painter Brushes
------Acrylics [just for example]

If you have made a new folder inside the Painter Brushes folder (or an equivalent), like Acrylics2 or something, then yes, you need a little 30x30pixel brush icon image. Otherwise, no.

(Sorry about the late reply.)
