Click download to get the brush pack in a zip folder; you will need Winzip or something similar to get it out.

To install for Windows: Place XML file and any other files (such as JPG) with the same name in a brush category here: C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Painter IX\Brushes\Painter Brushes\[category folder]\

To Install for Mac: Place XML file and any other files (such as JPG) with the same name in a brush category here: Applications/Corel Painter IX/Brushes/Painter Brushes/[category folder]/

Or put them in your custom brush folder, if you have one like I do. Whichever.

When I try to move the files into the Brushes it tells me:

'Access Denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not in current use'

I'm using a PC, and dragging these into
'C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel Painter IX\Brushes\Painter Brushes\'

There aren't any other folders called 'custom brushes'

help D: ?

oh& the brushes look so pretty *O*<33

Does it only works in Painter 9? (<---has 8)

It should work in 8. The way certain brushes are processed was altered between 8 and 9, but I believe that's primarily the watercolors and digital watercolors. These should work properly.

If not, go into the Brush Creator (ctrl+b in Windows) and adjust the settings until they look the way you want. (And if you have any questions about that, feel free to note me.)
